ARC-6063 (4/8-port SAS-to-SAS Controller)

Overview The ARC-6063 external RAID controller features a two dual-lanes SAS host channel and SAS device attachment. The controller has a base module with 8 SAS channels for disk drives. Installing a two dual-lanes SAS host daughter board onto the base module allow you to support 8 channels SAS function.
The Array controller provides reliable data protection for servers and offers a new level polynomial technology to implement the high speed RAID 6 function. Its performance is very similar to RAID 5. The controller raises the standard to high performance levels with several enhancements including Intel IOP348, a new memory architecture (DDR2-533) and new RAID 6 engine.
